Felicity Wood marries Ronald Carlson

Felicity Turnbull Wood, daughter of Ms. Patricia Wood (Patricia Houghton) and the late Chalmers B. Wood of Princeton, NJ, was married on May 14, 2015, to Ronald Bryan Carlson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Carlson (Nelda Vaughn), of Sacramento, CA. The ceremony took place at San Francisco City Hall, followed by a reception at Johnny Foley’s Irish House, also in San Francisco.

 

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Houghton (Anne Sullivan) of Dunedin, New Zealand, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chalmers Wood (Katherine B. Turnbull) of New York City.

 

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Loren Vaughn (Rosella LaShell) of Sacramento, CA, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl S. Carlson (Kate E. Cohn), also of Sacramento.

 

Mrs. Carlson is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Carlson attended American River College, after which he created a successful start-up business, following in the steps of his antecedents who became prominent landholders and business owners after moving from Vermont to California prior to the Gold Rush of 1849.

 

The couple took a wedding trip to Stinson Beach, CA, and reside in Cameron Park, CA.
