Sarah Blake Whitney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. P. Whitney Jr. (Doelger—Victoria Milbank) of Dedham, MA, was married on May 2, 2015, to Daniel Hoyt Doud, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Doud Jr. (Kathleen A. Jicka) of Glenmoore, PA. The ceremony and reception took place at Turkey Hill Plantation, a hunting retreat owned by the bride’s family in Ridgeland, SC.

 

The bride, known as Blake, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Milbank Jr. (Andrea Hunter) of Greenwich, CT, and Charlottesville, VA, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. P. Whitney (Joan Blake) of Boston and Westwood, MA.

 

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Raymond Jicka (Marcia Sbertoli) of Millersville, MD, and the late Mr. Jicka. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Doud (Edwina V. Butler) of Danvers, MA.

 

Mrs. Doud is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the Boston Conservatory. Mr. Doud graduated from Northeastern University and Northwestern University.

 

The couple currently make their home in Boston.
