Charlotte Alexandra Revol, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rafael José Revol Nuñez (Susana Kolker) of Philadelphia was married on December 30, 2015, to Heimata Kellum Rutgers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony L. Rutgers (Diane G. Lipshultz) of Aspen, CO. The ceremony and reception took place at Yacht Club Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecilio Kolker (Maria Elvira Murature) of Cordoba, Argentina. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aurelio Revol Nuñez (Angela Maria Nuñez Torres Castaño) of Salta, Argentina.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Max Lipshultz (Norma Meyer) of Los Angeles, and of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas G. Rutgers Jr. (Nancy E. Hall) of Greenwood Village, CO.
The wedding festivities began with an asado, an Argentine barbeque. A rehearsal dinner was held the next day at Alvear Palace Hotel, one of the oldest in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, and included plenty of dancing, with the couple performing their own tango. The following evening, the wedding celebration began with the groom crossing a small dam in a dinghy with his groomsmen, with the song
“Rocky Mountain High,” an ode to his Colorado upbringing, playing in the background. In true Argentine fashion, the celebration full of eating and dancing continued into the early hours of the morning, with guests watching the sunrise together before departing.
Mrs. Rutgers graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Rutgers is a graduate of Tulane University.
The couple took a wedding trip to Rio de Janeiro, and reside in Brooklyn, NY.
