Beatrice Smith Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan W. Parker (Heidi J. Smith) of Chevy Chase, MD, and Austin, married Brandon Baines Bienvenu, son of Mr. and Mrs. St. Clair Bienvenu Jr. (Janet Brockett) of Keswick, VA. The ceremony and reception took place on September 26, 2015, at Anderson House, the historic museum of the Society of the Cincinnati, in Washington.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene W. Smith (Nancy Chaloupka) of Corsicana, TX. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James P. Parker (Jean Williamson) of Gibson Island, MD.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest D. Brockett Jr. (Frances Sammons) of Baton Rouge, LA. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. St. Clair Bienvenu Sr. (Martha Sewell), also of Baton Rouge.

Mrs. Bienvenu received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Bienvenu received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina, and an MBA from the University of Virginia.

The couple took a wedding trip to Sardinia, Italy, and currently make their home in Houston.
