Emily Ballard McAllister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig McAllister (Susan Brooks) of San Francisco, was married on September 12, 2015, to John Brooks Reece III, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Brooks Reece Jr. (Judith D. Strohmeier) of Chestnut Hill, MA. The ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s by the Sea in Hyannis Port, MA. A reception was held at the bride’s family home on Squaw Island, also in Hyannis Port.

 

The bride, who is known as Bailey, is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. William Y. Humphreys III (Brooks—Susan White) of Hyannis Port, and the late John H. Brooks of West Hartford, CT. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McAllister (Elizabeth Proudfoot) of Hilton Head, SC. She is the stepgranddaughter of the late Mr. Humphreys.

 

The groom, who is known as Brooks, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William D. Strohmeier (Beatrice T. Chesterman) of South Dartmouth, MA. He is also the grandson of the late Mrs. Jose dePedroso (Reece—Charlotte Worthen) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and the late John B. Reece of Chestnut Hill. He is the stepgrandson of the late Mr. dePedroso.

 

Mrs. Reece attended The Bishop’s School and is a graduate of Boston University. She also completed a certificate from the New York School of Interior Design. Mr. Reece attended Noble and Greenough School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

The couple took a wedding trip to Mallorca, Spain, and reside in San Francisco.
