Ms. Elizabeth R. Love (Corroon—Elizabeth R. Love), 55, of Fairfield, CT, died on November 1, 2014.
Born on January 17, 1959, in Greenwich, CT, she was the daughter of Mr. James S. Love Jr. and Mrs. George I. Reynolds (Love—Royds—Nancy R. Sullivan). Known as Lisa, she attended Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day School, and Greenwich High School.
Lisa began her professional career as an accountant at R. T. Vanderbilt Holding Co. in Norwalk, CT, after graduating from the University of Vermont with a bachelor of arts degree in business. After earning a master’s degree from Pratt Institute, she founded Lisa Love Designs, an interior design firm. In addition to her design services, she also sold home décor and gift items out of her store, Love and Co., in Westport, CT.
Lisa was a joyous, happy person, always fun to be around. An excellent golfer and tennis player, she enjoyed sailing, yoga, and skiing, and spending weekends with her children at a house she owned in Peru, VT. She belonged to a book club and a hiking club, was a member of the Country Club of Fairfield and an active member of Southport Congregational Church in Southport, CT. Lisa loved to paint and travel, once taking her mother on a painting trip through France, where she painted pictures in the gardens of famous artists, among them Renoir, Gauguin, and Monet. She fought cancer for three years, and during that time visited various faith healers in India and Brazil, which also involved many interesting travels.
Ms. Love is survived by her three children, Robert F. Corroon III, Nicholas B. Corroon, and Henry L. Corroon; her mother, Mrs. George I. Reynolds, of West Palm Beach and Cooperstown, NY; and nine siblings, J. Spencer Love III, Michael Love, Nancy Z. Love, Peter J. Love, Wynne D.
