Amy Evans Detmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Detmer Jr. (Julie Evans) of Glen Ellyn, IL, was married on June 20, 2015, to Richard Blake Jeffers, son of Mrs. Richard B. Jeffers (Susan Wisnasky) of Naperville, IL, and the late Mr. Jeffers. The ceremony took place at Old St. Patrick’s Church in Chicago, followed by a reception at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

 

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Evans (Joan Keenan) of Bettendorf, IA, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Detmer (Jan-Ann L. Turner) of Glen Ellyn, IL.

 

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wisnasky (Judith Leonard) of Naperville, IL, and Richard A. Jeffers of Springfield, IL, and the late Mrs. Jeffers (Carolynn S. Quinlan).

 

Mrs. Jeffers is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Jeffers also graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii and reside in Chicago.
