Julia Lachicotte Cushman, daughter of Miss Alison G. McCall (Cushman—Alison G. McCall) of Lyme, CT, Lake Wales, FL, and New York, and Andrew L. Cushman of Greenwich, CT, was married on May 2, 2015, to William Joseph Curry II, son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Curry (Eileen O’Neill) of Wilton, CT. The ceremony took place at Bok Tower Gardens, with a reception at the bride’s family home within Mountain Lake Club, both located in Lake Wales.

 

The bride is the granddaughter of Julien L. McCall of Cleveland, Pawleys Island, SC, and Lake Wales, and the late Mrs. McCall (Janet Jones); and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Blinn S. Cushman (Dorothy Q. Lawrence) of East Hampton, NY, and Sarasota, FL. She is the stepdaughter of Mrs. Cushman (Kratovil—Lyn Sedergren), and descended from 19th-century New York Mayor Andrew Mickle.

 

The groom is the grandson of Joseph C. O’Neill of Delray Beach, FL, and Malverne, NY, and the late Mrs. O’Neill (Virginia Devine); and of the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. Curry Jr. (Mary McGuire) of Stamford, CT.

 

Mrs. Cushman attended Nightingale-Bamford School and The Hotchkiss School and graduated from Davidson College. Mr. Cushman attended Wilton High School and is a graduate of Ohio State University.

 

The couple took a wedding trip to Saint Barthélemy and reside in New York.
