Weddings

Dani Louise Visser, daughter of Col. and Mrs. Eric P. Visser (Nancy L. Holland) of Alexandria, VA, was married on June 13, 2015, to Grant Gibson McCullagh Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant G. McCullagh (Suzanne D. Folds) of Winnetka, IL, and Northeast Harbor, ME. The ceremony took place at St. Ignatius Church, with a reception afterwards at Asticou Inn, both in Northeast Harbor.

 

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper L. Holland (Bessie Lou Rutherford) of Portland, OR. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Daniella Visser (Daniella A. Voumard) of Lausanne, Switzerland, and the late Johan Pieter Visser of the Hague, the Netherlands. 

 

The groom, known as Gibson, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Folds (Suzanne Lord) of Winnetka. He is the grandson of the late Mrs. William J. Stone (McCullagh—Barbara L. Grant) of Barrington, IL, and the late Robert E. McCullagh, also of Barrington. He is the stepgrandson of the late Mr. Stone.

 

Mrs. McCullagh is a graduate of Boston College. Mr. McCullagh attended Groton School and graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

 

After a wedding trip to Lyford Cay, Bahamas, the couple make their home in Groton, MA.
