Kimberlea Tracey marries Stephen Jeffries

Kimberlea Anne Tracey, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William F. Tracey (Anne M. Grant) of Boston, was married on May 30, 2015, to Stephen Benjamin Jeffries, son of Benjamin Eustis Jeffries of Stonington, ME, and the late Mrs. Jeffries (Philippa Roosevelt). The ceremony took place at Trinity Church, followed by a reception at the Somerset Club, both in Boston.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Grant (Rita E. McCormack) of Boston.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip J. Roosevelt (Jean Schermerhorn Roosevelt) of New York and Oyster Bay, NY. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Amory Jeffries (Miriam Faulkner) of Milton, MA. He is the stepson of Mrs. Benjamin Jeffries (Lorraine S. Lans).

The bride wore a silk gown by Oscar de la Renta and a bolero jacket in ancient Morrison tartan, the groom’s family tartan, designed by Chynna B. Pope of Boston. She accessorized with jewelry from both her family and the groom’s late mother; the gold and diamond-encrusted Eustis-Jeffries family cross, which has been worn by brides dating back to 1893, adorned her gardenia bouquet.

The groom’s daughter, Julia P. F. Jeffries, was maid of honor, and his son, Philip J. R. Jeffries, entered in procession with the 25-member choir. Prior to dancing to music by the Alex Donner Orchestra, its namesake a cousin of the groom, guests dined throughout the clubhouse and garden of the Somerset Club, which was the site of the couple’s first date as well as Mr. Jeffries’ marriage proposal.

Mrs. Jeffries is a graduate of Pine Manor College. Mr. Jeffries graduated from the University of Chicago.

The couple is planning a wedding trip at a later date, and currently make their home in Boston.
