Christina Marie Robilotto, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Robilotto (Kathleen Maher) of Binghamton, NY, was married on August 10, 2014, to Robert Atwell Duryea, son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Duryea Jr. (E. Lovejoy Reeves) of West Palm Beach, and Remsenburg, NY. The ceremony took place at the Westhampton Presbyterian Chapel in Quogue, NY. A reception was held at the Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach, NY.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Maher (Jacqueline M. Brown) of Binghamton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Giovanni Robilotto (Luchia V. R. Negro), also of Binghamton.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rosser Reeves (Elizabeth Lovejoy Street) of New York, Larchmont, NY, and Jamaica, West Indies. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William M. Duryea (Hitchcock—Mary Ellen Atwell) of Old Westbury and Locust Valley, NY.
The bride wore a full length dress with a chapel train made of oyster taffeta and a marquise diamond ring that once belonged to the groom’s maternal grandmother. In place of a veil, she wore a jeweled hair ornament, which she donated to the Bridal Garden, a bridal boutique and not-for-profit charitable organization whose proceeds benefit education for disadvantaged children in New York City. The couple traveled from the wedding chapel to the reception in a bright red pedicab adorned with flowers and a “Just Married” sign, arriving to the sounds of mellow jazz provided by musicians who often play with the groom, a jazz drummer in his spare time.
Mrs. Duryea graduated from Rutgers and Columbia. Mr. Duryea attended Trinity-Pawling School and is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Tuscany region of Italy, and reside in New York.
